Content licensing

Plain-language terms for what you may do with what you make here. The short version: on any paid plan, your output is yours to sell, publish and monetise — worldwide, forever, including after you cancel.

Effective 26 July 2026

Who owns the output

You do. VideoSet claims no ownership of the video, images or audio you generate. We keep a limited licence only to store, process and deliver your files to you — and, separately, to show anything you explicitly choose to publish to the public gallery.

Free accounts — personal use

Personal & evaluation use — not for paid or monetised work.

  • Use it to evaluate the product, learn the tools, and make things for yourself.
  • Not licensed for paid client work, advertising, or monetised distribution.
  • Free output carries a small VideoSet watermark.

Paid plans — full commercial use

Full commercial use — worldwide, perpetual, yours to keep.

  • Sell it, publish it, run ads with it, monetise it on YouTube, TikTok, Spotify Canvas or anywhere else.
  • Use it in paid client and agency work, with no per-seat or per-title royalty owed to us.
  • Worldwide and perpetual — no territory or expiry limits.
  • No watermark on any paid output.

Every plan on the pricing page (Test Drive, Creator, Studio) grants full commercial rights.

Your rights survive cancellation

Rights attach at the moment you generate something, based on the plan you were on at that time. Cancelling, downgrading, or letting a plan lapse does not revoke the commercial licence on work you already made. You never have to keep paying to keep using something you have already shipped.

Work generated while on a free account stays personal-use, even if you upgrade later — regenerate it on a paid plan to get commercial rights.

AI-generated content and disclosure

Everything made here is generated by AI. Output is labelled as AI-generated in its file metadata, and several platforms and jurisdictions require you to disclose that when you publish. You are responsible for meeting the disclosure rules that apply to you — the publishing tools include a disclosure toggle to help.

What you may not generate

  • Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or likeness rights.
  • Real people depicted without their consent, including deepfakes of public figures presented as genuine.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises real people without consent.
  • Content that is illegal where you are, or that violates the terms of the platform you publish to.

You are responsible for the prompts and reference material you supply, including any rights in photos or audio you upload.

Model providers

Generation runs on third-party models. Their terms can impose their own restrictions on output, and those apply in addition to ours. Where a provider is more restrictive than this page, the stricter term wins.
